Chip Performance programs directly into the engine control unit of the relevant machine, which ensures optimum efficiency and allows even the gearbox (if automatic) to be smoother and more flexible. Chip Performance does not install a tuning box or external module on or near the engine. When assembling such a module the computer is "fooled" and the computer sees that the values ​​are too low, for example, the diesel pressure while this is not the case. The computer is then forced to often go beyond its original values ​​to solve this "problem". This can cause damage to the engine in the long term. In addition, the engine is often louder and no optimal result is achieved.
