Intrax is a Dutch manufacturer of high-quality suspension technology with more than 30 years of intensive experience at the highest level in the racing world.

Intrax designs and produces shock absorbers, suspension and suspension technology for Formula 1 cars, street cars and everything in between. In addition to an extensive street and competition program, Intrax also supplies "tailor-made suits" on undercarriage technology.

Intrax is located in the south of the Netherlands. Intrax was founded in 1994 by Henk Thuis. This is the same man who started and raised the legendary White Power Suspensions in 1975. Under the umbrella of Henk Thuis, other suspension companies such as Technoflex, Hyperpro, Ohlins Holland and Wilbers Suspension have also started.

After 15 years of intensive development, a wide range of high-quality lowering springs, shock absorbers, height-adjustable coilovers, adjustable shock absorbers and complete car chassis has been developed. For the competition applications, we may also provide alignment and weighing. A special department of Intrax builds complete street, trackday, race and rally cars for every budget and at every level. Intrax supports, runs and coordinates various race car “cups”.

Winning examples
Intrax holds the absolute lap record for street legal cars on the famous “Nordschleife” of the Nürburgring. In 2009, the Radical SR8LM on the Intrax 4-WAY shocks broke the record with a lap of 6m48s. This is more than 23 seconds faster than the best competitor.

1K2 shock absorber
The 1K2 is a "high-end" in height and damping adjustable shock absorber set with springs (also called "helical set") for demanding street and competition use; modular and built from the most noble materials.

Adjustable damping
The interior is more extensive than with the RS, RSA and HDA silencer. Unlike many competitors, Intrax deliberately chooses one button for the damping adjustment from "smooth" to "sporty / hard". With this one button the compression and rebound damping can be adjusted simultaneously over a set range of 40 positions.

"Coilover" Street

HDA shock absorber 
The HDA shock absorber is a height and damping adjustable shock absorber set with springs (also called "helical set"). The HDA silencer is a high quality shock absorber, built from the same quality parts as our race dampers. The damper is based on the same technology that helped Schumacher in his world championship.

We take road handling seriously. That is why we supply different settings for the springs, the shim stacks and the damping pistons for most applications:

* Comfort / Fast Street. This is an upgrade from the standard parts to the sportier side. Everyday comfort and minimizing vibrations and noise levels are just as important as the "handling" of the car. Optimized around the Dutch road.

4-Road shock absorber 
The 4-Way is Intrax's top product. The damping can be adjusted separately for the low-speed compression damping, the high-speed compression damping and the rebound damping of the shock absorber, and the total low-speed damping area is also adjustable.
- The slow compression damping or the “low-speed compression” determines the front-rear and the left-right movement of the car (“pitch” and “roll”). These movements are caused by acceleration, braking and cornering speed.

- The fast compression damping or "high-speed compression" determines the deflection of the wheels on short bumps, such as curbstones and grooves in the road surface.

- The rebound or “rebound” damping stabilizes the car, dampens unwanted movements and absorbs unwanted energies.

'' EPIC '' Off-road shock absorber

EPIC is Intrax its purpose build off-road shock absorber. The EPIC shock absorbers are available in our well-known 4 road and 1K2 versions.

The EPIC shock absorber has a piston of Ø 60mm that ensures maximum control even during very large movements such as those on off-road often occur. The enormous volume of this EPIC series in combination with the choice of materials and our unsurpassed thermostat ensures constant control under the toughest conditions.
